Gray's sedge (or Globe sedge) is an attractive, grassy plant with unique, spherical seed spikes. It does not have aggressive rhizomes and can be used as an ornamental sedge that will form a dense clump. Deer tend to avoid many sedges, while a variety of birds enjoy the seeds.
