Prairie coreopsis has brighter, yellower flowers than lanceleaf coreopsis. Plants spread by seed but also by underground stems so take care that it is planted in a spot where migration isn't an issue. As with most coreopsis species, prairie coreopsis is great for bees and many other pollinators.
