Strawberry bush has long-lasting foliage and exceptionally attractive fruits. The flowers are greenish yellow with hints of maroon.
Its small size makes it useful around buildings. Young plants often appear crooked and spawling, but once they are planted will grow more erect and start branching. Deer are especially fond of the leaves and stems of our native Euonymus species.
