An amazing plant with summer flowers that seem to constantly draw swallowtail butterflies. A tall, slender wildflower that can grow in fairly shady and dry conditions, though it is just as happy in wetter, sunnier conditions. Sources say that Joe Pye was a native American who used Eutrochium/Eupatorium species as a remedy for spotted fever.
