Cream gentian, or plain gentian, is a great plant that shares many attributes with its flashier cousin, Gentiana andrewsii (closed bottle gentian). Cream gentian blooms a little earlier and prefers drier soils, but both plants are bumblebee magnets, deer resistant, and make great cut flowers.
