Large, semi-evergreen leaves are reminiscent of maple tree leaves. This is a late-blooming alumroot that is fairly drought tolerant and grows well in shaded flower beds. Direct morning sunlight is fine as long as there is some relief in the afternoon. This is a fantastic plant to grow in decorative containers.
