Wandlike bushclover is an upright plant with clusters of dainty, pinkish-purple flowers. Like other bush clovers, this one is good for attracting bees, birds, and other wildlife. It is well-suited for rock gardens and sites where competition from larger plants is minimal.
In the past, we referred to it as violet bushclover. Current taxonomy now indicates that Lespedeza frutescens should be referred to as violet bushclover.
