Jumpseed is most striking when it is found in large, woodland colonies and in full bloom. Its bright white flower spikes contrast nicely against the green basal foliage. Because it tends to spread by seed and rhizome, it may not be suitable for highly formal woodland plantings.

Seed: Will benefit from at least a month of cold, moist stratification. If seed that is being stratified is forgotten and left in the refrigerator, it will germinate in the fridge by early May. The following seeding rates should deposit about 20 seeds per square foot:

- 1 ounce per 175 square feet
