Rose pink is a showy biennial plant whose fragrant flowers are open during the day but closed at night. Biennials have a two-year long lifespan and exist as basal foliage their first year and bloom the second year. This one has a fairly long bloom period from June to September. Bees are the primary pollinators and will find rose pink in a variety of habitats including glades, prairies, pastures, rocky open woods, roadsides, streambanks, and fens.
