This perennial "bluet" has a bright burst of small white or pale lavender flowers from April through July. It is a showy, compact plant that grows in a variety of habitats including limestone glades, loess hills, rocky open woods, and dry prairies. In the home landscape, it will do well in rock gardens and bright areas with good drainage.
