Woodland spiderwort is a gorgeous flower for shaded areas. The pink or purplish flowers appear in spring, and as the weather heats up, the plant goes dormant--usually in June. Plant with celandine poppy, wild sweet William, and oak sedge, or other plants that retain their foliage while woodland spiderwort is dormant.
