Slender bushclover has clusters of small, pink flowers that are visited by various bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Its roots help fix nitrogen in the soil, aiding in soil fertility. This is a great plant for wildlife, though dense populations of deer, groundhogs, or rabbits can hinder establishment as they all enjoy eating the plant. Once established, it can spread both by seed and vegetatively. Slender bushclover prefers sunny, dry conditions, but it can also grow in a fair amount of shade. It is drought tolerant and can be found in prairies, glades, upland forests, roadsides, and savannas.
