Elmleaf Goldenrod is typically a woodland species and prefers some dappled shade, but it can do very well in full sun if provided with enough moisture. It is rhizomatous and can form colonies, especially in rich soil. Like other goldenrods, it is great for attracting bees and other pollinators. Attractive yellow flowers may appear as early as July and as late as October.

Uses: Bees, butterflies, birds, medicinal
Bloom time: July - October

Height: 1 to 3 feet
